It was Sophie's birthday and despite floods and floods, no rain touched manky Mansfield (her words, not mine*.)
*It was pretty manky.
But drinks made everything less manky.
We've had a great weekend, and I've finished another set of surgical nights. Can't believe how soon it is to New Zealand. You can count it in days! I should probably stop saying, "I'm going to New Zealand next year..." when it is in fact next month. NEXT MONTH.
Don't worry - we're going to apply for visas pretty soon, I reckon.
That's it for now, a bigger, better, badder etc update soon I hope. But for the moment we just need to veg out after a seriously energetic weekend.
